Global Project Manager, Business Systems and IT

The Global Project Manager, Business Systems and IT will lead enterprise-wide, cross-functional technical, strategic, and transformational initiatives, including complex business systems implementations, application development, systems integration, business process re-engineering, operational efficiency improvements, and infrastructure upgrades and deployments.
This position is located in Toronto, Canada with some travel to our global operations in the UK, USA, Continental Europe, India, the Middle East, China and Asia Pacific.
The key accountabilities of this position are :
Overall accountability for on time, scope, and budget successful delivery of projects.
Responsible for all aspects of the project lifecycle (from definition to closure and handover) and work with the technology and cross-functional teams, and external partners to oversee all project phases.
Responsible for stringent scope, resource, and schedule management to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed time, cost, and quality parameters.
Develop and manage project charter to define project goals, scope, objectives, and participants with clear RACI matrix that describes participants by various roles in completing tasks or deliverables within the project.
Champion and promote standards, best practices, and processes for project management and coach and mentor team members in their adoption.
Develop and manage resource plans to identify and define allocation and utilization of cross-functional project resources.
Develop and manage comprehensive project plans with ownership of project governance, actions, issues, and risk tracking, mitigation planning, and change control to track resources and project deliverables.
Proactively identify and resolve risk. Turn risk events into opportunities where possible with mitigation strategies or continuous improvement initiatives, to maximise the potential for success.
Manage project communications, establish and conduct meeting cadences for status reporting and decision making necessary for stakeholder and cross-functional, working level teams.
Ensure project and operational artifacts are complete, current, and maintained appropriately.
Role Requirements :
University Degree in Business and Information Technology, or a related field.
10+ years of project management experience in enterprise-wide business systems (ERP, CRM, PLM) implementations and IT software development projects in a manufacturing environment.

Proven complex project delivery track record and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and assignments, while balancing with other priorities.
Superior oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and concisely.
Knowledge of Infor Baan, LN, CPQ, Sales Portal, ION Desk, and PLM Accelerate is a plus
Ability to break down complex problems in a simplified way, conduct root cause analysis and provide clear, well thought-out recommendations.
Strong, team-oriented leadership skills with presence and a bias for action.
Self-directed with ability to work autonomously and collaboratively and a focus on results.
Ability to communicate in an open and authentic manner in all situations
