This role is responsible for ensuring that the HR Technologies in their Application portfolio support business objectives effectively and efficiently.
This is achieved by partnering with related HR business areas (CEO, Relationship Managers and Service leads), control functions (Legal, Privacy, Finance) and IT&S groups to identify enhancement opportunities, prioritize requirements, develop roadmaps, re-
configure and / or partner with IT&S groups to develop new capabilities. This role is also responsible for ensuring existing functionality performs and so is an escalation point for related support issues.
Leads and drives a customer focused culture throughout the team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and maintains an expert level knowledge of the system and business processes it supports in order to provide product consultant input to matters related to their systems
Maintains an expert level knowledge of their Application Portfolio and business processes it supports in order to provide product consultant input to related matters
Works with Business stakeholders to create and maintain a product roadmap that identifies the scope and timing of planned product enhancements
Facilitates resolution of technical issues escalated from Employee Services teams by engaging in troubleshooting activities and / or collaborating with IT&S
Performs a Product Manager and / or Project Manager role for Application enhancement initiatives related to their Application Portfolio
Collaborate with the COE groups relevant to their designated system to ensure that the system aligns with COE strategy and programs
Works with peers to ensure cross platform processes integrate well, that access controls and data privacy is consistent across the HR Application suite and that regulatory requirements are accommodated
Partners with counterparts in IT&S to drive the continued enhancement and maintenance of HR technologies
Oversees the performance of respective systems through analysis of systems performance metrics and user feedback mechanisms to ensure optimal system performance
Partners with external vendors and IT&S to improve systems functionality and, when required, support the resolution of technical issues.
Leverages insights on leading trends and practices on HR technology systems to identify improvement or enhancement opportunities
Upskills Digitization and Automation team members through coaching and knowledge transfer activities
Post-secondary Degree or Masters in Computer Science or Business or related field
5+ years experience in HR system management or related field
Understanding and knowledge of Bank policies and procedures
Strong knowledge of Organizational structure and complexity
Strong knowledge of HR systems
Attentive to details and deadlines; ability to manage multiple priorities
Proven teamwork capabilities; strong relationship management and interpersonal skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
