    In this role your responsibilities include :

  • Develop relationships with decision makers of named OEM Industrial equipment manufacturers, Rental house, dealer or distributor channel in heavy equipment companies located in North America
  • Educate Fleet, Engineering, Product and Marketing management on the opportunities and benefits that telematics can provide to enable their business systems and processes
  • Lead commercial development, program development and customer lifecycle management activities to find, win and grow enterprise clients
  • Operate throughout the customer’s supply chain to provide unique value to each stakeholder
  • Leverage a team of highly skilled executives, engineers and solutioners to recommend solutions and programs that create competitive advantage
  • Your Skills, Attributes, Qualifications :

  • Experience operating at all levels of an organization. Experience dealing with Rental or OEM’s is an asset. The candidate will leverage their network and reputation to engage, develop and manage a base of existing and new clients.
  • Outside sales experience preferably in industrial equipment rental and / or OEM market, fleet management, industrial controls, telematics or communications systems is an asset
  • Experience working in Rental environments, selling long term industrial services or assets or as a sales person in an industrial equipment manufacturer is beneficial
  • Ability to manage; a portfolio of named prospects, sales opportunities and develop them into a profitable long term clients
  • Independent and self-driven with skills in working effectively with a geographically remote internal support organization
  • Excellent commercial development, sales and account management skills
  • Customer focused and success driven
  • Computer Skills : Microsoft Office, CRM, and Internet
  • A diploma in Sales or Engineering / Industrial Technology or related experience
  • Previous experience with a Telematics Provider is helpful
  • This position reports into the Director of Commercial Development Industrial IoT Division. Clients are located across the United States.

    The candidate will be required to travel as part of his or her duties.
