The Sales and Channel Development Manager ( Hunter ), is responsible for driving the implementation of the used and refurbished phone sales strategy.
Focusing on the channel development plan to increase market share in the B2C and B2B channels, retail, carrier, carrier dealers, online and enterprise channels the region.
Directly responsible for signing new accounts to, as well as by increasing sales volumes across both active and inactive existing accounts.
You will differentiate Brightstar from competitors in your region and establish Brightstar as the clear market leader, as well as being the primary point of contact between the customer and Brightstar.
Also, will be responsible for sales forecasting, analytics, productivity, Salesforce reporting for the region and other sales support functions.
Deploy an Effective Channel Development Plan (CDP)
Increase sales volume of used phones and refurbished phones across new and existing customers
Strengthen Brightstar’s network in your region; improve and develop stronger, sustainable customer relationships through a detailed understanding of their needs, motivation, plans and actions
Develop market analysis to understand demand and identify potential opportunities
Consult with customers to assess current business problems and define desired future states that incorporate Brightstar products;
implement strategy across diverse customers
Negotiate and execute sales
Ensure visibility with key clients; monitor and provide feedback, and take steps to improve customer relationships
Gain synergies by adopting best practices and avoiding mistakes from the past; share learning and best practices with colleagues across regions
5+ years of related experience, including experience in the wireless and / or accessories industry
3+ years sales experience, as a Hunter
Bachelor’s degree; MBA or related master’s degree preferred
In-depth knowledge of industry, including key players and products with direct knowledge selling small and medium sized enterprises, dealers, MVNOs.
History of selling used phones to retailers and carriers a plus.
Proven results in successfully managing key performance metrics and developing new business
Track record of successfully applying consultative selling and strategic business skills to achieve or exceed revenue, profit and customer satisfaction targets
Passionate and energetic; can-do approach
Strong negotiator; persuasive deal making ability
Ability to function effectively in both entrepreneurial and matrixed environments; strong leadership skills
