The Company :

Our client is a fast-growing Canadian consulting and systems integration firm that focuses on cloud applications, primarily on Salesforce-based platforms.

Our client also has operations both in the USA and India. They’ve actively built their Salesforce practice and have quickly grown into one of the strongest Systems Integrators within the Canadian Salesforce Public Sector space.

While Public Sector is their focus, they are also growing into other verticals including Insurance and Telcom space. They are one of the largest Systems integrators for Vlocity and BasicGov Applications and have implemented these solutions for several municipal, provincial and federal public sector clients.

Their consultants and associates have deep industry expertise. They also invest heavily in developing unique Salesforce based solutions and accelerators required by their clients.

The Candidate :

The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B sales, as well as skills related to strategic analysis and marketing. In this role, you will be responsible for developing relationships with new clients, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.

You will formulate business development and sales plans in consultation with the CEO and top management team.

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential clients in the target market and research on the prospective client's business needs.
  • Develop relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships.
  • Partner with pre-sales teams to create contract-winning proposals for current and prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure contracted product specifications are executed on-time and as agreed.
  • Become a subject matter expert on their services, delivery and processes, and remain up to date on industry trends and projections.
  • Required Skills / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in related field
  • Minimum 7 years demonstrated achievement in B2B sales in service industry preferably in computer software / IT Industry
  • Good to have - experience in selling to public sector and government departments, including analyzing tender notices and RFPs.
  • Should have direct working experience on preparing and submitting RFIs and RFPs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good understanding of the public sector and government business, with the ability to become a subject matter expert on the job.
  • Innovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose best solutions for clients keeping in mind CSA’s offerings.
  • Salary will match industry standards with a mix of salary and performance linked incentives.
