TMAC Resources is looking to hire a Millwright who will be responsible for performing mechanical repairs and routine planned maintenance on a variety of fixed plant installations throughout the Site, in a safe, environmentally friendly and cost-
effective manner. This position will report to the Fixed Plant Maintenance Supervisor. This position is located at the Hope Bay Project site in Nunavut, Canada and will require regular rotational travel to and from the site (3 weeks in / 3 weeks out).

Install new or overhauled equipment in a timely manner according to manufacturer’s recommendations. Fabricate, overhaul, and install parts on fixed equipment installations, within time frames to be outlined by The Maintenance Supervisor.
Keep work areas and equipment clean and free of safety hazards on a continuous basis and conduct routine inspections of the workplace.
Perform preventative maintenance. Repair equipment within planned time frames. Conduct equipment inspections in response to Operations concerns or as outlined by a maintenance schedule.
Perform repairs in a cost-effective, safe, and environmentally friendly manner in order to maximize equipment availability Communicate reports on maintenance, and log repairs.
Provide sufficient detail about repairs so that others can understand what work has been done on the equipment Work together to promote a Positive Safety Culture.
Demonstrate awareness and commitment to health, community and environmental protection and take action to ensure that unsafe practices or non-
compliant behaviours do not occur. Inform, involve and engage key internal and external stakeholders appropriately; develop and maintain positive relationships and represent TMAC positively in the community.
Other such duties as may be assigned.
Journeyperson certification as a Millwright. Interprovincial certification is preferred. Demonstrated experience with a variety of stationary heavy equipment, machinery, and mineral process installations, maintenance, and repair Adherence to Plant and Site safety standards.
Experience with Mine Rescue and / or Surface Fire-Fighting would be considered an asset. Ability to learn and understand technical procedures and information quickly.
Excellent oral, written and active-listening skills. Ability to work in high stress situations and resolve issues. Highly effective organizational, time management and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to take initiative and work independently and as part of a team. Hands-on, self-sufficient and demonstrates a positive, can-
do attitude. Arctic experience is an asset. Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office.
