As a Graduate / Junior Airport Planner, your responsibilities will include :
The opportunity for involvement in major airport projects in Canada, US, and internationally - working in conjunction with some of the world’s leading architects, engineers, and aviation consultants.
The position requirements will be focused on airport terminal planning, master planning, airside planning, and related aviation facilities planning.
Qualifications : Required :
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Planning, or related field
Min of 3.0 GPA or Higher
Proficiency in at least one of these CAD platforms : Microstation or AutoCAD
Proficiency in graphics software packages : Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint, etc.
Proficiency in Basic Office Suite : Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Fluency in English required
Must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges, and have good communication and organizational skills.
Knowledge of BIM software : REVIT
Knowledge of 3D Modelling and Rendering software (Sketchup, 3DStudioMax, Rhino, Grasshopper, V-Ray, Maya, Blender, Cinema 4D, Maxwell Render, Mental Ray, Lumion Render, Twilight Render, etc.)
Working knowledge of other spoken / written languages will be an advantage
Internship experience in a consulting firm with emphasis on airport terminal planning, master planning, airside planning, and related aviation facilities planning
Academic research, coursework, or other experience related to airport planning
Proven ability to perform in a deadline situation
History of technical presentations and technical writing, knowledge sharing with peers
Evidence of teamwork and leadership
