Reporting to the Site Wide Services Manager, the Traffic Management Coordinator (TMC) will act as the primary contact for Traffic Management on the Project site for all JFJV departments and subcontractors.
The TMC will coordinate the entire Traffic Management program for site, owning responsibility for executing the overall Project Road Traffic Management Plan.
The TMC will manage load delivery scheduling for site, liaising with JFJV Logistics and subcontractors to ensure all loads are registered and have an assigned time slot.
Job duties will include, but not be limited to : Creating detailed Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) for different project phases and specific activities on site which will disrupt traffic to accommodate work
Reviewing specific TMPs from subcontractors and auditing subcontractor TMP execution
Perform regular site inspections and audits to ensure Traffic Management best practices are adhered to
Manage the site Road Status Change process and issue site bulletins on Road Status Changes or other Traffic Management issues as required
Chairing a regular Traffic Management meeting and / or the Traffic Management portion of the site Daily Coordination Meeting
Ensure traffic control signage and barricades are established where required and consistent throughout the Project site
Liaise with JFJV GIS to ensure the site Traffic Management map is regularly updated and issued
Work with SWS to coordinate craft personnel, material, and equipment needed to execute the TMP and all JFJV Traffic Control requirements
Ensure Human Machine Interface (HMI) is minimized and chair regular HMI workshops with multiple stakeholders
Directly support project and construction management with planning and utilization of proper means and methods for all construction activities
Analyze situations, identify and forecast problems or conflicts and evaluate realistic options; and recommend / implement appropriate course of action
Adhere to and support Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
