Title : Salesforce Developer Location : Winnipeg, MB, Canada Job Description :

  • Work as part of our dynamic Salesforce team throughout the software development life cycle
  • Collaborate with and mentor team members through code review, design and knowledge sharing
  • Participate in the full application life cycle from technical design, administrative activities to development, automated testing, and deployment, including data quality and design
  • Design and implement critical solutions on the platform utilizing Visualforce, Apex, D / HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOJO, AJAX, and other technologies
  • Actively engage in an Agile (Scrum) environment with a focus on iterative and test-driven methodologies
  • Ensure adherence to continuous improvement practices as required to meet quality / time-to-market imperatives
  • Assists with user story grooming to better define technical configuration changes and translate business intent
  • Participate in development of W&D's next-generation Salesforce platform (Lightning)
  • Communicate issues, risks and concerns proactively to management
  • Education and Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of development experience with Salesforce
  • Minimum 5 years of software development experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline
  • Experience working in an Agile (Scrum) environment
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Expert-level experience in Lightning, Apex development
  • Experience building Web-based UIs with a deep understanding of HTML, JavaScript (including libraries such as jQuery and Prototype) and CSS
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented concepts and design patterns and prior work with OO languages (e.g. Java, Ruby, C#, C )
  • Effective decision-making and critical thinking skills for problem identification and solution recommendations
  • Ability to be flexible, set priorities and meet deadlines in a changing environment for self and team
  • Strong time management skills
  • Passionate in providing excellent customer service
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented while consistently looking at the big picture
