Profile Our client is a local manufacturer and service provider for trailers and related equipment. We are looking for a Sales Manager join their team.
This position will be focused on project-based sales. He or she will work with the team to design trailers that solve customer challenges.
We are looking for individuals with proven sales accomplishments and a strong understanding of the transportation and trailer industry.
Manage RFQs and identify new opportunities for trailer sales
Prepare technical bids, quotes and presentations
Manage sales contracts, invoices, payments and customer communication during the entire sales cycle
Work in conjunction with the team to ensure projects are effectively executed
Develop sales strategies and plans, including forecasting and trend analyses
Provide high-quality customer service, technical information, solutions and support to clients
Visit clients to develop relationships and devise solutions for customer challenges
Stay up-to-date on market trends and find opportunities to enhance the company’s market share and offerings
Manage the day-to-day activities of the sales department
At least 5 years of experience selling products or services related to transportation and trailers
Ability to build relationships with customers and provide high-calibre customer support
Strong business acumen
Enthusiastic, engaged and driven to build sales
Excellent interpersonal skills
Willing to travel up to 25% of the time
