Mission

We are seeking a seasoned BIM Management Professional to support our design teams in meeting their project goals, to develop BIM-centred work methods and to ensure the application of modelling and document management standards during projects.

The CIMA+ Buildings team is recognized as a leader in terms of collaboration and its work in the field of virtual construction.

Primary responsibilities

  • Supervise the application of appropriate BIM processes for mechanical and electrical disciplines within the context of multidisciplinary projects
  • Carry out mechanical and electrical modelling using the REVIT tool
  • Ensure that drawing and modelling standards for mechanical and electrical disciplines are respected and applied
  • Take part in the development and implementation of appropriate BIM processes for mechanical and electrical disciplines
  • Develop and assemble 3D models in accordance with a BIM management plan
  • Provide support for the mechanical-electrical team with respect to the process for detecting interference in supervising the resolution of internal problems
  • Provide support for the BIM Manager in applying the various uses of BIM for the mechanical and electrical disciplines
  • Coordinate work and information exchanges among the various project teams
  • Provide training and technical support based on the needs of the team
  • Profile

  • DCS in Building Mechanics or Electricity or Civil / Structural Engineering
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent knowledge of REVIT software
  • Technical knowledge related to the sizing of components, selection of equipment and project processes
  • Proficiency in French (oral and written)
  • Working knowledge of English (projects across Canada)
  • Dynamic and able to work as part of a team
  • Solid priority management skills
  • Mastery of MS Office 365 Suite
  • Experience using the Dynamo tool is an asset
  • Experience using the BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud platform is an asset
