Specific Job Description
This Lockheed Martin Enterprise Business Automation Analyst will be part of a diverse support team for enterprise platforms and technology Solutions.
The Business Automation Analyst will be responsible for defining current and future state fit gap assessments, assisting the internal business customers to define business requirements, business process definition, high level designs, personas, use cases and detailed functional requirements to meet future state system requirements.
The Business Automation Analyst may lead cross functional teams to conduct workshops and detailed design sessions. The position will work across functional Information Technology (IT) teams, business teams and other enterprise operations organizations to plan and execute opportunities to address obsolescence and maximize efficiency through implementation of technology solutions.
The position is also responsible for supporting the identification of project issues and risks and providing status updates, supporting stakeholders and team dynamics in a fast-paced environment.
The Business Automation Analyst will be responsible for sustainment activities related to the maintaining the high level efficiency of the various technology platforms in their portfolio.
This will include daily customer support for logistics reporting, problem analysis and resolution, prioritization of break / fix incidents, functional testing, documentation and training updates.
Position will work with other business and technical personnel to ensure integration with interfacing systems and processes as needed.
Responsibilities include :
Work under the direction of the Manager to provide application solutions for assigned business areas
Possess functional knowledge of assigned application technology
Interact with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to solicit business requirements
Serve liaison role between application technology vendors, internal IT groups, and business users
Translate business requirements into product-specific designs and configuration, detailed requirement specifications and use cases
Deliver functional specifications, design documents, business process workflow and related documentation for new development projects and / or enhancement and modification requests to be used by development teams
Interact with development teams during the software build and / or configuration process and testing process
Perform functional application configuration and configure / run reports at user request
Design and execute functional, integration, and regression test plans for new application functionality, product releases and enhancement and regulatory modifications using business scenarios and use cases
Ensure programs meet business specifications
Demonstrate new functionality to business users seeking inputs on future direction
Review vendor provided documentation and user manuals needed to support the product
Directly interface with business users by responding to support calls escalated by the Service Desk
Lead user focus groups and requirements workshops
Develop presentations and present to senior level leaders
Lead in the setup of vendor training and demonstrations
The role will be required to work multiple tasks simultaneously and learn new functionality quickly
The position will be responsible to comply with the Lockheed Martin Canada Inc. (Lockheed Martin) Change Control Process

Required skills, qualifications and experience
College diploma or University degree and 3 to 5 years experience in related field
Demonstrated experience leading fit gap analysis, current vs future state analysis, business process discovery workshops, developing use cases and personas and business requirements
Demonstrated experience with lean process design in a technology environment
Demonstrated experience developing functional requirements
Experience in Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) environments
Experience with either SAP iMRO or iBaseT MRO or similar MRO technology platform desired
Experience with analysis using industry rules and best practices
Experience developing documentation and testing experience required
Demonstrated ability to negotiate through challenging issues to deliver innovative solutions.
Desired skills, qualifications and experience
Lean Six Sigma or Lean Process design certifications considered an asset
Proven experience with Agile projects
Detailed oriented, can see the big picture but can also execute effectively
Experience with Microsoft (MS) Project or other similar project tracking software
Proven experience with MS Office products (Excel, Word, Power Point)
Proven ability to work well with a virtual team in a fast-paced environment
Proven self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills
Proven experience with software development life cycle
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent communication skills
Strong Customer Service orientation.
