Market Job Description
This role will report to the Americas & EMEA Benefits Manager but on a day to day basis will be led by the Canada Benefits lead.
Key partners include Global Benefits team, HR Consulting, Finance and Payroll teams.
Essential Responsibilities :
Maintenance and administration of Wells Fargo Canada benefit plans (both retiree and current active plans)
Operational delivery in liaison with our external vendors and consultancies of health benefits (EHC, Dental, Vision, Insurances) and retirement savings plans in Canada
Maintaining benefits records, compiling statistics and / or processing benefits data
Supports and maintains employee benefits files and benefits data updates
Supports annual benefits enrolment process
Manages the administration of third-party benefits platform
Conducts analysis of benefits processes and procedures as well as benefits data as needed
Utilizes the company's internal human resources information systems (HRIS) to perform duties
Learns and acquires knowledge of benefits administration, HR company personnel policies and procedures
Support to the Well-being Champions team in their role in designing, implementing and then engaging team members in well-
being events and activities
Renewal and operational delivery of the international Business Travel Accident insurance benefit
Supports the enrollment / change / termination of benefits processes
Supports the verification, validation and update of employee benefit data
Manages benefits invoicing and payments processes
Supports vendor management activities as needed
Supports benefits and ad hoc projects as requested both on a local and International basis
Market Skills and Certifications
Minimum qualifications :
1+ year of relevant experience including HR generalist or benefits experience
Experience and focus on benefits administration in Canada
HRIS and online platform design and or administration experience;
Understand basic benefit plan design and administration
Online enrollment platform experience a plus
Strong analytical skills
Strong communication skills
Strong organizational skills
High proficiency in Microsoft Office
Seeking career path in benefits
Willing and able to develop skillsets in the full range of activities of benefits administration including data input, benefits plan documentation, benefit plans audit support;
team member experience, records retention and documentation; vendor management; as well as online platform & benefits database administration
Able to work in main Benefits office location as well as secondary benefits office location as required
Preferred skills :
Retiree and active employee benefits administration experience
Passion for well-being
Working towards Benefits and / or HR designation
Fluency in French would be considered an asset
