  • What you will need to succeed :

  • 2 - 4 years customer service experience (Financial Services / Insurance experience an asset)
  • Excellent organizational, project management and priority-setting skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and openly in a team environment
  • Creative problem solving and problem resolution abilities
  • Ability to simultaneously handle multiple projects / tasks and complete within assigned deadlines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to influence without authority
  • Significant understanding of insurance / financial services products
  • A day in the life of an Account Manager :

  • Aid in answering requests from sponsors, agents and actuarial consultants regarding account relationship management issues such as basic customer inquiries, product management, general financial and legal concerns
  • Be involved in cross-functional teams where applicable as a representative of Affinity’s Account Management Team ensuring product / project focus is aligned with client’s expectations
  • Ensure that all business relationships with Third Parties and Sponsor Partners are well documented
  • Develop a solid understanding of sponsor programs and be able to identify trends and patterns of client questions or issues, initiate improvement suggestions or escalate to the appropriate person / department
  • Work with internal departments including product management, marketing, creative, customer service, underwriting and legal
  • Provide administrative support to account manager, such assembly of annual reports, updating reports, data collection and other administrative functions as required
  • Provide timely and professional assistance and support to all internal customers
