What you will do
Responsible for medium to large sized accounts for the sale of Johnson Controls BE offerings to design build contractors and consulting engineers.
Develops long-term customer relationships, ensures customer retention, and growth of assigned accounts. You will work closely with our other sales team members to develop projects and opportunities for owner, HVAC equipment, and consulting engineer sales.
How you will do it
Maintains frequent face-to-face contact with the customers who most directly influence decisions. Actively listens, probes, identifies and addresses concerns.
Understands the customer's business. Develops credibility, loyalty, trust and commitment.
With assigned owner accounts, consistently drives preference for our offerings, favorable specification, and decision making.
Trains and mentors inside sales team to drive customer satisfaction. Functions as a lead on projects which includes responsibility for take-offs, estimating and bid strategy as directed by sales manager.
Conducts technical presentations on JCI offerings and positions oneself as a subject matter expert to assigned accounts.
Targets new customers based on account management and market strategies.
