The Caretaking Department requires the services of a full-time Caretaking Supervisor to commence work as soon as possible.

Under the direction of the Caretaking Manager, this position offers supervision, guidance, training, and support to Caretaking staff.

This role is a working supervisor that also assigns tasks to Caretakers.

Other duties include conducting quality assurance inspections in assigned areas, assisting with supply inventory control, and inputting work orders for deficiencies into the internal operating system.

Position Qualifications

  • High School Diploma;
  • A minimum of one (1) year of prior related supervisory experience;
  • Knowledge of heavy duty cleaning procedures and operation of cleaning equipment;
  • Excellent communication skills, inclusive of both writing and verbal skills;
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office would be an asset.
  • Must have the ability to maintain effective working relationships with the University community and the general public is essential
  • Class 5 non GDL Driver’s license
  • Open Until Filled
