Seymour Pacific Developments Ltd. is a national leader in land development and residential construction, and we are seeking a Development Administrator to join our Development team in Campbell River, BC.
The Development Administrator is responsible for assisting the Development team with the acquisition of property and the subsequent planning for specific use of the land.
The Development Administrator is responsible for various elements of contact, document control, and deadline management, regarding land use and property development issues.
Prepare application packages for all City applications including applicable documentation, checklists, drawings, professional schedules, payments, and any other information as required
Create project schedules using MS Project and assist with tracking and reporting
Assist with due diligence by working with consultants and tracking deadlines
Assist with the administration of regulatory duties such as rezoning, development permit, and building permits
Apply for and manage sign permits, postal codes, and other minor permits as required
Research zoning ordinances, construction regulations and environmental restrictions as required
Assist with the administration of liaising with city or government agencies and community groups on property matters related to the Company
Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with all city and administration staff, consultants and land vendors on behalf of the Manager as required
Post-secondary education in business administration, real estate or equivalent considered an asset
Minimum two yearsâ€™ experience in an administrative role
Background in municipal planning considered an asset
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Experience preparing reports and presentations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and excellent time management skills
