Reporting to the Head of Digital Ag, the Global Digital Ag Lead will be a visible role taking direction from the office of the CEO & providing external representation and adoption of the Farmers Edge digital ag platform, specializing in various product areas.
The Global Digital Ag Lead will also work closely with Regional Client Managers and the Farmers Edge Product Owners on future development opportunities.
Core Duties :
Collaborate with leadership to support the expansion of corporate relationships with prospective partners;
Identify future opportunities in the market to support further business development;
Represent Farmers Edge by speaking at public engagements and shows to expand product awareness and interest.
Drive the adoption and utilization of Farmers Edge digital agronomic tools;
Demonstrate expertise in the application of Farmers Edge digital agronomy and data analysis tools;
Collect input on product ideation from Regional Client Manager and prioritize regional product needs.
Collaborate with Product Owners and Managers regarding product enhancements, requirement definition, feature prioritization and business justification as required;
Collaborate with development and business teams as required to successfully design, build, and deploy product features;
Act as a key source for competitive intelligence in region and product area to ensure there is a strong understanding of market changes, competition changes, and future opportunities;
Identify and implement tactics for the Digital Ag Team to promote decision ag knowledge to increase current customer usage and future customer acquisition;
Work with Marketing to expand brand awareness, grow digital / decision ag culture and expose the Farmers Edge brand at key opportunities through public presentations, webinars and social media;
Ensure completion of all necessary administrative functions, such as expense accounts, are completed in a timely manner;
Travel required up to 50%;

Education, Experience and Assets :
Bachelor's degree in agriculture or related field.
10+ years of experience in related work with emphasis on digital agriculture.
Must be comfortable public speaking. Must be influential, able to command a large audience and articulate vision.
Able to travel domestically and internationally.
Valid driver's license with a reasonably clear driving record.
