You as Business Development Manager, ED Modular will :

  • Drive business growth through proactively identifying new opportunities, fostering relationships and successfully closing opportunities for the ED Modular facility in Hamilton, ON
  • Work with the department lead, project managers and plant manager to ensure a steady stream of profitable work through the modular manufacturing facility
  • Focus on areas suitable for modular building including : student housing, senior living, affordable housing, rental units, hotels, temporary accommodation and other opportunities
  • Have developed or bring a proven plan to develop a solid client base and book of business
  • Develop and deliver client presentations, attend conferences, and perform other business development opportunities as required
  • Is this the right role for you?

  • You have a business degree and ten years of sales and / or business development experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience
  • You have solid experience and expertise in the area of Prefabrication and Modular construction.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate with the project team.
  • You have demonstrated the ability to capitalize on your network and create opportunities that others might not see
  • You have the ability to develop strong relationships with Clients to ensure continual business growth within the company
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to represent the company and project team in a professional manner to both internal and external clients
