Diversified Transportation is looking for multiple full-time Heavy Duty Mechanics to join our team in Fort McMurray. Apprentices (all levels) will also be considered.

Reporting to the Shop Manager, you will work in a fast-paced environment maintaining a large fleet of motorcoaches. Diversified offers an above-average work environment with an emphasis on safety and training.

To qualify for the Mechanic position, you must be a reliable self-starter with strong interpersonal skills. The shift for this position is a 7 on / 7 off rotation.

Position Requirements :

Heavy Equipment Technician Ticket; Apprentices also considered

Valid (or willing to obtain) class 1, 2 or 3 driver's license with airbrake endorsement; 1st Year Apprentices must have a minimum class 5 non-GDL license Cost of upgrade to a class 3Q license covered by the employer

Pre-employment drug & alcohol and physical demands testing

Shift work required

Primary Responsibilities :

Maintenance / repair of motor coaches

CVSA Inspections

Respond to breakdowns

Spring and winter maintenance

Supervision of apprentices
