About the role : Calian is looking a Contract Administrator (CA) to join our team! The CA is both an outward and inward facing role.

The outward facing role the CA acts as the second line resource for personnel in the field (employees and independent contractors (IC)) and customers.

In this customer service role, the CA excels in communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills. Additionally, the CA provides administrative support to the Contract Manager in the areas of reporting and contract documentation.

In the inward facing role, the CA acts as the interface between the consultant "in the field" and Finance, HR, and Payroll.

The CA is responsible for timeliness, accuracy and completeness of all contractual paperwork that supports and / or is related to the agreements with the employee, IC and the customer agreements.

The CA is the primary administrative resource responsible for contract administration; as such the CA is responsible for :

  • Providing administrative support to the Contract Managers (CM)
  • Provide second line administrative support to the direct workforce
  • Customer Contract review and acceptance
  • Performing all administrative duties that fall under contract administration such as : oPreparing all internal contract documentation required & obtain appropriate approvalsoMaintain required SAP and candidate tracking system master dataoEnsure all timesheets, invoices and travel / expense claims are submitted within require timelines, review for accuracy, appropriate approval and compliance with contract clauses and budgetoTrack and Facilitate security clearanceoProvide Month End reporting
  • Act as liaison between direct workforce and divisional services The qualifications :
  • Minimum secondary school diploma, College diploma in Business or Finance preferred
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Finance or Administrative role, preferably within SAP environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail combined with focus on deadlines and ability to drive things to completion
  • Self-starter who thrives in high-paced environment and works with minimum supervision to meet tight deadlines
  • Openness to new ideas, sound decision making and independent thinking
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, team-player who looks for win-win solutions and provides excellent customer service to both external and internal customers
  • Experience in dealing with Government Contracts or working knowledge of applicable Crown contract policies & practices would be an asset
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word
  • Bilingual is a definite asset Type of assignment : Permanent, Full Time
