We are currently looking for an ERP / CRM Functional Analyst for developing detailed specifications and implementing an ERP / CRM (JDE) solution for financial modules.
He or she must have advanced knowledge of the systems in his field of expertise, understand the client’s business environment, analyze client needs and impacts, translate this into detailed, results-oriented specifications and obtain client’s approval.
Makes recommendations as to implementation strategy, checks the validity of selected solutions and oversees their setup.
The incumbent identifies opportunities for improvement with regard to system features and issues recommendations concerning our client’s needs.
Works closely with several IT teams, clients and adjusts to ongoing changes in projects and requests.
Work with business analysts to analyze client requests and provide guidance as to the choice of appropriate technology solutions, taking into account budgetary commitments and delivery timeframes, and support the business analyst in day-to-day operations;
Draft functional analysis documents;
Analyze business processes and put forward applications solutions to meet specified needs;
Define functional specifications, in accordance with the client’s needs and development and integration constraints;
Help build solution architecture and detailed design;
Develop and integrate solution components;
Run functional tests once the solution has been developed;
Assist various business units with development, execution, reporting and acceptance testing;
Contribute to the continuous improvement of functional analysis and quality assurance;
Identify and recommend opportunities for system improvement;
Help resolve incidents and problems;
Propose solutions and action plans; evaluate alternatives;
Support the development team
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, information technology or a related field;
CPA designation, an asset;
Eight or more years of relevant experience in developing accounting-related business solutions;
Three to five years of experience as a functional analyst, and advanced knowledge of ERP / CRM software (JDE, SAP, e-business etc.) and business systems
Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.0 (integration and analysis), an asset;
Experience with financial modules;
Experience with test scenario documentation;
In-depth understanding of development methodologies, especially Agile methodologies;
Knowledge of financial consolidation an asset;
Self-starter, team player, collaborative mindset, strong analytical and integrative skills, detail-oriented and meticulous;
Good judgment and professionalism in dealing with difficult situations;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written);
Ability to prioritize and work in a fast paced environment;
Fluency in written and spoken French and English
