Career Opportunity :

The Mississauga facility is hiring a Flexo Helper who will be responsible for assisting operator in setting up based on SOPs related to specific equipment as well as other related duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for :

Primary duties include Setup and operate to customer specifications and perform process inspections to ensure quality product.

The Flexo Helper employee is also responsible for inspecting cartons for glue, fold, tears, cutting errors, and major print issues.

What other skills or abilities are required for this position?

Locate and bring roll stock into the room

Load roll stock onto the press when required

Prepare ink chambers, doctor blades and hoses

Locate proper anilox rolls, deliver and load onto press

Grease ink pumps and replace hoses

Place new metering filter, place ink on stand and mix

Empty ink from chambers into ink pails

Remove anilox rolls from press when required

Complying with all safety policies and procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, and quality procedures

Assisting with the general maintenance and housekeeping of the department

Job Conditions and Environment

Plant environment with exposure to dust, chemicals, fumes, and noise (hearing protection required). Standing and walking % of shift on a concrete floor
