Fuel Transport is expanding rapidly and looking for a Functional Analyst for our office located in LaSalle.

Job Summary :

  • Analyze business needs and propose innovative technical and practical solutions for the improvement of various departments.
  • Modify, customize and optimize internal IT tools according to needs analysis.
  • Understand, analyze and solve business problems in the context of software requirements and recommend solutions that will make our business processes more efficient.
  • Optimize user experience by working with internal and external teams.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams on different projects.
  • Contribute to the development of internal processes and business systems to accelerate the achievement of business objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of internal processes and business systems that will help accelerate the effectiveness of the company.
  • Conduct and assist in establishing detailed functional specifications used by clients, partners and development teams.
  • Prepare project deliverables in accordance with best practices and quality criteria established by projects.
  • Attributes :

  • Strong planning, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills, both written and verbal. (French and English)
  • Direct industry experience in the transportation and / or trucking industry. (Asset)
  • Education & Qualifications :

  • University degree or college diploma relevant to business analysis or equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of similar or relevant experience
  • Excellent knowledge of IBM DB2 and Crystal Reports, database and reporting systems
  • Experience with the following; SQL Commands and scripting, EDI
  • Experience with software’s such as TMW Truck Mate, People NET, Navigo (Asset)
