The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) provides consistent, valuable, honest and energetic sales representation for all customers within a territory as prescribed.

He / she plans, organizes, communicates and manages the sales activity for customers to maximize product sales volumes and value of the tools provided.

He / she develops and maintains excellent business relationships with the retail management hierarchy at each store to achieve objectives and grow our mutual business.

TSM maximizes distribution and profitability of products in the assigned territory, in cooperation with a team of distribution agents

More specifically, the incumbent :

  • Manages and grows all types of accounts in the territory ensuring the highest level of customer service;
  • Maximizes product's distribution and profitability within the territory;
  • Works in collaboration with distribution agents to service all customers within assigned territory;
  • Maintains adequate account coverage based on a call cycle, ensures follow-up on promotions and respect of planograms;
  • Negotiates the necessary promotional support from each of the retail accounts for which he / she is responsible;
  • Presents business analysis to store personnel and propose an adjustment to current shelf setup to address the opportunity;
  • Prospect and acquire new clients;
  • Participates in creation of proposals for existing and potential clients.

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales and / or Marketing, or other relevant discipline;
  • Minimum Three (3) years' experience within the food sector or packaged products sector;
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills; able to quickly identify and prioritize key opportunities.
  • Client oriented, demonstrates sales expertise, solid communication skills (verbal and written), fluent in spoken / written English;
  • Strong computer skills; comfortable with common, relevant business software;
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal relations skills;
  • Good judgment, creative, autonomous, good negotiator.
