Tasks to be Accomplished

  • Run all equipment for production and Customer Service Group tests for the Shaker / Vibration and Chamber / Thermal rooms
  • Operate the cranes & manual lifts, and perform daily Pre-Shift inspections
  • Assist in equipment maintenance
  • Assist in equipment calibration
  • Assist team on tasks
  • Assist with tasks and projects to handle increased production & CSG demands
  • On Call Duty (Pager) possible
  • Shaker Room : Run the following standard tests for Production and CSG :

  • Incoming Evaluation
  • ESS (Environmental Stress Screening)
  • Pre-ATP (Acceptance Test Procedure)
  • Engineering tests
  • Understanding the basic theory for the following :

  • Shaker System Operation
  • Vibration Controller Operation
  • Maintenance and documentation of equipment including the following :
  • LDS full armature rebuild and performance verification (annually)
  • LDS flexure replacement and performance verification (quarterly)
  • LDS and UDC slip table system cleaning and oil replacement (annually)
  • MX and M series adapters and performance verification (annually)
  • Hardware replacement for MX & M series adapters (bi-monthly) and all other adapters (quarterly)
  • Calibration and documentation of the following :

  • Vibration controllers
  • All type of accelerometers
  • Assist in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions
  • Maintain the following supplies :
  • UDC shaker parts
  • Miscellaneous shaker parts
  • Misc. hardware
  • All types of tape, glue, small mirrors
  • All lifting accessories
  • Chamber Room : Run the following standard tests for Production and CSG :

  • Engineering tests
  • Understanding the basic theory for the following :

  • Chamber System Operation
  • Chamber Controller Operation
  • Maintenance and documentation of equipment including the following :

  • Chamber system maintenance(annually)
  • Dry Air System
  • Calibration and documentation of the following :
  • Chamber controllers (annually)
  • Chamber Chart Recorders (annually)
  • Assist in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions
  • Maintain the following supplies :

  • Chamber electrical parts
  • Main air filters, chamber dry air & humidity filters and main humidity water filters
  • Miscellaneous chamber parts
  • Chart Recorder pens, paper, pen arms and miscellaneous parts
  • Water hoses, adapters and clamps
  • Skills Required

  • Experience in the field of maintenance and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions
  • Knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Experience & Education Requirements

  • Mechanical or electrical technician (or equivalent experience)
  • One plus years of work experience
