Cashiers provide a high level of customer service and practice safe food handling procedures. They perform checkout procedures including the proper handling of customers' groceries, operation of an electronically scanning cash register to total customers' final bill, and bag the customers' groceries.
They also perform other duties such as ordering, stocking and displaying of merchandise as directed.
Scanning and bagging products
Receiving payment (cash, debit or credit card)
Organizing and cleaning register area (wiping work area or replacing till paper)
Physical Job Requirements
Gripping, pushing and pulling items.
This position requires lifting up to 10 pounds on a constant basis and lifting 10-40 pounds on a rare basis.
Training is provided and no experience is required!
