An exciting and challenging opportunity exists in the City Auditor’s Office. A motivated, versatile, and high-energy self-
starter who is well-organized and capable of providing professional executive support to the City Auditor. Primary duties include : Provide expertise in innovative practices to support delivery of strategic objectives of the City Auditor’s Office.
Provide strategic advice to the City Auditor and the audit leadership team to advance resilience, reliability, responsiveness and risk-
based innovation practices. Design and lead the annual reporting process to effectively communicate service deliverables and outcomes to multiple stakeholders.
Coordinate and enhance design of the City Auditor’s Office quarterly reporting and support delivery of budget related reporting as required.
Support external media communication requests and FAQ’s. Design and implement additional innovative tools and processes within the City Auditor’s Office, based on direction from the City Auditor.
Qualifications A university degree plus a minimum of 5 years of related experience in implementing strategic initiatives for a dynamic professional organization.
Knowledge and experience in leading audits based on International Professional Practices framework (IPPF) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) standards would be considered a desired asset.
A master's degree in business administration will also be considered an asset. Excellent written communication skills, along with well-
developed marketing and facilitation skills. Media communication experience and related skills would be considered a desired asset.
The ability to self-direct and work both independently and collaboratively with others to achieve high quality outputs in a timely fashion.
