The AVP, Operations and Client Solutions reporting to the VP, Operations and Client Solutions GTA Region will oversee the delivery of exceptional client service with the emphasis on professionalism and consistency within the commercial team, focusing on maximizing both effectiveness of processes and efficiencies in procedures across the region.

How You Will Affect the Business

  • Provide guidance and support to Client Solutions Service team including but limited too : Adherence to service standards Ensure full utilization and Gallagher workflow and systems to enhance client service and minimize E&O risks Responsible for productivity and increase performance Development and coaching Client Solutions Team to retain team members including performance management and succession planning
  • In collaboration with other leaders in the business, maintain a culture of respect, fairness, collaboration and inclusiveness within respective branches
  • Point of contact with regional carrier partners to facilitate ease of doing business and attending insurer meetings and events as required
  • Responsible for communication within the team of internal changes along with any technical, insurer and product updates / changes
  • Take a leadership role within Ontario Commercial business
  • In collaboration with other leaders in the business to identify white space opportunities within the existing book of business

    Education, Experience & Skillsets

    Secondary School Diploma required, College or University Degree strongly preferred.

    10+ years of Commercial Insurance experience

    5+ years of Leadership experience preferred.

    Active and in good standing RIBO License required

    CAIB, (F)CIP, CRM or other relevant certifications / designations favored.

    Knowledge of EPIC considered an asset.

  • Proven experience with workflow development and implementation required
  • Demonstrated and proven results in employee development
  • Strong analysis and decision making ability
  • Understanding of Ontario regulatory requirements
  • Effective time management and change management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications with key strengths in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Motivated self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Able to build and sustain professional relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Able to manage individual work products associated with key responsibilities
  • Able to assess and adapt to different learning styles
  • Must be able to travel to other branch offices on regular basis
