ISED will continue to play an important role in advancing initiatives in each of the budgetary themes. Our work is diversified and touches on various topics, such as innovation, science, industry, tourism and small business.

Intent of the process
This process aims to create and maintain an inventory of Aboriginal persons AND / OR Persons with disabilities for casual, indeterminate or term appointments within Innovation Science and Economic Developpment.
A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used to fill similar positions with various locations and tenures.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in Economics, Sociology or Statistics (specialization is at least one full year course or two half-year courses in in Economics, Sociology or Statistics).
Significant EXPERIENCE where you :
Contributed to management of human and financial resources.
Significant means :
EC-06 positions : The depth and breadth of work demonstrated normally acquired by performing the duties for a period of approximately one (1) to two (2) years.
EC-07 positions : The depth and breadth of work demonstrated normally acquired by performing the duties for a period of approximately three (3) years.
Knowledge of subject matter such as legislation, policies and / or practices relevant to the position being staffed

The proficiency level for each competency will be based on the level of the position being staffed. The competency dictionary will be provided to you should you be considered for a position.

Graduation with a Master’s degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in economics, sociology, statistics, business / commerce, political science, public policy, mathematics or a related field.
