Policy and Compliance is responsible for the implementation of corporate security strategy. This includes developing and maintaining security policies, working with auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure successful SOC 2 audits, and being an advocate for Assent Security.

  • Take ownership of the corporate security policies, ensuring they align with ISO 27001 Educate Assent employees and contractors on their roles and responsibilities regarding security by developing and delivering training materials including documents, videos, visual aids and presentations;
  • Work with auditors to successfully complete SOC2 audits and other certifications Perform audit / testing on internal controls and work with stakeholders on remediation activities Compliance mapping and maintaining controls on relevant security frameworks and regulations Work with the Sales and Marketing teams to answer questions related to security during the RFP process This is not an exhaustive list of duties.

  • solving and project management skills with incredible attention to detail; You are well-organized and able to work under deadlines and multiple projects;
  • You understand the importance of documentation and process; At least 3 years of experience in security policy and compliance Have strong oral and written communication skills in English-

  • you communicate clearly, concisely, and with tact; Exposure to and knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27K, NIST 800-53, GDPR and other security / privacy standards and regulations Have experience developing security awareness programs Industry certification in Security (preferred) Assent has built a passionate workforce;
