With 45 employees, Xpertek is in a growth phase and we are looking to add an estimator / project manager. Most of our contracts are with Institutions such as hospitals, school boards, government, universities and the Ottawa Airport.

Xpertek has a need in 2 places. The individual with the right experience and attitude will fill one of those 2 needs.
50% of Xpertek's work is estimating, bidding and managing institutional jobs that are under $100,000. We are looking for an individual who has the capacity to go to job showings, estimate and potentially manage the jobs.
50% of Xpertek's work is to respond to institutional emergencies such as floods or fires. We are looking for an individual who has experience in managing flood and fires in this market.
Somebody with insurance 24hr response estimating and project management skills will also be considered.

Responsibilities and Duties
Attend job showings
Attend management meetings of Xpertek
Participate in the daily huddles
Estimate and / or manage jobs based on experience and skills
Reporting on jobs
Qualifications and Skills
A minimum of 3 years of experience is required in estimating or project management in Construction
Any experience with Xactimate Software would be an asset
Any formal education in construction such as a technical degree would be an asset
