The G Adventures Global Marketing Services team is on the hunt for an energetic, collaborative, experienced, hard-working, detail-

oriented Global Account Manager. for a 13 month contract. If you fit the bill, we’d like to meet you.

As the primary lead for marketing campaigns and initiatives globally, you take ownership of a project’s entire life cycle, communicating and engaging with key stakeholders along the way to ensure that delivery is on time and executed with excellence.

You understand that nothing gets done without a team of people, so you rely on your strong relationships to make it happen.

You’re a leader who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty and that’s earned you both the respect and trust of your fellow marketing teammates.

Your strategic, analytical, and storytelling skills make you a briefing warrior. Proactive and adaptable, you think strategically to find the best solutions for both your client and the global team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting directly to the Global Manager, Marketing Services and Operations, you and team members are responsible for ensuring our internal business units -

our clients - receive the marketing solutions they require to reach the business goals. These clients include Regional Marketing (Canada, USA, Australia, Europe, UK) Global Sales, Operations, Yield, G, Talent, Product, Air, Planeterra (the nonprofit partner of G Adventures) and the Global Marketing Team.

Client and Campaign Management :

  • Develop or receive client briefs and assess with key stakeholders in Global Marketing
  • Lead key communications between clients and the Global Marketing Team
  • Develop and maintain workback schedules, plan and lead campaign and project development meetings. Summarize and put the next step into action!
  • Collaborate directly with the Global Marketing channel leads to develop a go-to-market plan (where appropriate) including Marketing Intelligence, Customer Experience & Advocacy, Brand Management, Creative & Content, and Digital Marketing & Communications
  • Leverage WorkFront (internal project management system) to consolidate all campaign and project materials
  • Ensure campaign communications are consistent, accurate and effective (you are the glue)
  • Work closely with the Traffic & Resourcing Specialist to ensure deliverables are identified and timelines are aligned
  • Lead the campaign and project development process from end-to-end and ensure a flawless execution that is delivered on time and with excellence
  • Communicate details of the programming across other Regional Marketing offices (as appropriate) to promote cross-global campaign alignment
  • Develop program summaries and necessary presentations to effectively share program / campaign details across the business
  • Direct Mail and Print

  • Manage the development of all Direct Mail and core print collateral on behalf of global (excludes product brochures)
  • Liaise with the ACD, Brochures & Printed Collateral to develop pricing and distribution costs for Regional Marketing teams.
  • Ensure global marketing calendars are maintained and accessible to all stakeholders, including and the VP of Marketing

    Tools, Efficiencies and Spreading the Word!

  • Assist in the creation of simple and accessible global tools & toolkits for the entire business (case studies, templates, guidelines etc.)
  • Lead the post-mortems with the Marketing Intelligence team to communicate key learnings across the business
  • Actively contribute to the Global Marketing Team in a collaborative and meaningful way that helps support, inspire, and motivate fellow colleagues, direct reports, and managers alike
  • Understand and become an expert in our industry, our business, our culture, and our customer, and use that knowledge to create effective, impactful, strategic, and shareworthy work
  • REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years in a client services / account services or client marketing role - working on a Global brand, an asset
  • Experience in direct mail / print an asset
  • Experience in digital project management an asset
  • Experience in media, hospitality and entertainment, travel and tourism or online retail is an asset
  • Experience overseeing multi-channel campaigns in a fast-paced, competitive company / agency
  • Proven team-player and communicator. Effective at building strong working relationships across departments and at all levels of the organization
  • Able to work strategically and independently within a fast paced and ever-changing environment, while juggling multiple projects and tasks at the same time
  • Demonstrates initiative, timeliness, and the ability to make sound business decisions despite, at times, being faced with incomplete information
  • Demonstrates the ability to critique and discuss his / her own work and the work of others in a constructive manner
  • Possesses strong computer / technology skills and highly proficient in Microsoft Office, Powerpoint and Keynote. Knowledge of PM software tools Workfront and Trello an asset
