Hapag-Lloyd, a leading global container shipping line with over 13,000 employees worldwide in 129 countries is currently recruiting for dynamic and experienced Customer Service Coordinators to join our Montréal team.

In this role, you will be the primary point of contact by offering customers the full range of Hapag-Lloyd services in an expedient manner and professionally process customer requests for bookings and schedules.

Additional responsibilities include :

  • Handle in bound calls
  • Process customer requests and information via email or calls.
  • Respond and handle customer problems and inquiries.
  • Act as liaison between customer and sales
  • Responsible for export cargo from Canada and USA
  • Update bookings when necessary and notify all affected parties of changes.
  • Coordinate with terminal operations to assure efficient and effective handling of shipments
  • Additional ad-hoc duties as required.
  • Assist Customer Service with problem solving related to a customer issues where required
  • Validate and Input of new customer data into CRM (Salesforce) and FIS
  • Skills & Qualifications

  • Applicant should be physically based in or around Montreal, Canada
  • Industry experience or related schooling required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task time sensitive issues
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Well organized, ability to handle stress & meet tight deadlines
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Sales Force / CRM an asset
  • Bilingual (French & English) an asset
