Your Opportunity

Our Project Management community has seen substantial changes as Stantec expands into different parts of the world, adding to and refining our PM processes and tools.

As we continually improve and increase information to meet the growing needs of project managers and their teams, we require talented attention to the disciplined creation, management, and provision of these constantly changing assets.

While not accountable for the content itself (, setting policy, determining content requirements, approval of content), the successful candidate will be expected to collaborate with Project Delivery Office colleagues and the project delivery leadership across our business on relevant topics, and be responsible for making it happen when a content requirement is identified, and engaging with appropriate stakeholders.

Stantec is looking for a Content Manager for our Project Delivery Office to support our community of Project Managers.

Your Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain web pages for the corporate Project Delivery Office intranet site

Preserve and maintain the Stantec brand identity and establishing online presence

Assist with the intranet content management process

Responsible for creating a positive and cohesive user experience

Maintain project databases and assist in generating reports

Coordinate enhancements for the internal communications and template systems

Monitor and respond to inquiries related to project management resources in a timely and enthusiastic manner

Work with key stakeholders as needed and collaborate with other functional services team such as IT and Marketing.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

Familiarity with project management cycle and working within a PM Framework

Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly articulate issues and frame solutions in a compelling manner

Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, evaluate and solve complex problems

Exceptional prioritization of conflicting deliverables and ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment

Advanced SharePoint knowledge

Demonstrated proficiency with web-based tools, including Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Content Management Systems, and cloud-based interfaces

Expert levels of Enterprise Content Management using Microsoft SharePoint to manage document, digital media and intranet assets

Expert levels of Microsoft Excel proficiency with the ability to use formulas and pivot tables.

Expert levels of Microsoft Word proficiency with the ability to use macros and build templates.

Ability to effectively communicate with supervisor, peers, and internal clients.

Ability to thrive in a team environment as well as proven ability to take autonomous initiative in your deliverables

High attention to detail and quality, including participation in spot audits

Exceptional organizational skills and passion for clear, concise, information that works

Bring team spirit, collaboration and positivity to your work

Education and Experience

Post-secondary degree or diploma in information technology, business administration, or related area.

Minimum 5 - 10 years of relevant experience

Experience managing and delivering solution-oriented projects

General knowledge of HTML code is an asset.

Experience with project management is an asset.

Experience in Architecture / Engineering / Consulting industry is an asset.
