You are equal parts strategist, communicator and analyst! The Senior Digital Marketing Advisor will play a pivotal role in driving lead generation, ad optimization and conversion across all of Finning’s paid channels PPC, social and YouTube.
You will own and enhance the strategy and conversion of all Finning’s paid channels.
The ideal candidate knows all about what makes PPC successful, beyond just ad copy and audience targeting. You have expert knowledge on SEO, conversion optimization, social media, web / landing page design, etc.
all of the factors that drive conversion. You can manage external agencies but can also roll up the sleeves and build ad campaigns if necessary.
You will educate and inform internal employees, partners and stakeholders on how to leverage PPC to drive more leads, conversion and sale.
Based out of Surrey, Edmonton or Calgary, you will report to the Senior Manager, Digital Marketing.

Job Description :
Direct and manage agencies closely to build, monitor, analyze, improve and optimize all PPC campaigns on all platforms Google, Bing, social and YouTube.
Direct and manage agencies to build all types of search ads PPC, Re-targeting, display, shopping ads. Experience building lead generation forms in Facebook.
Perform detailed root-cause and opportunity discovery analysis.
Provide recommendations and direct agency to implement them timely and monitor and report out on progress.
Collaborate with internal teams (creatives, marketing managers, copywriters, stakeholders, etc.) to develop ad assets.
Manage a large, enterprise paid search account with multiple segments and campaigns. Launch new campaigns regularly.
Develop dashboards and ad hoc reports. Concisely communicate performance updates to stakeholders.
Report on competitor activities to better respond to competition.
Stay up to date with current and emerging technologies and the evolving digital landscape.
5+ years of direct experience building & managing paid search campaigns in all platforms Google, Bing, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube.
3+ years managing enterprise-level performance marketing programs.
You have spearheaded digital strategy and have excellent communication and analytical skills.
Deep expertise of tracking platforms, attribution models, conversion optimization.
Expert knowledge with analytics or attribution platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio, MS Excel.
Experience with Adobe Analytics, Funnel.io or any other analytics platforms is a plus.
Expert knowledge on all things PPC, from fundamentals to advanced, such as targeting, bid strategies, CPC, PPC, CTR, conversion rates, GTMs, conversion tracking etc.
Post-secondary education in a related field (Advertising, Marketing) and / or relevant experience.
Project management experience required.
Advanced knowledge of SEMrush, Photoshop, project management software such as Monday.com or Wrike.
Experience working with web content management systems (Adobe Experience Manager) or Sharepoint is an asset.
Agency experience is a plus.
