We are currently looking for an Industrial Electrician to work fixed or rotating shifts.
Primary Responsibilities :
Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, service and repair industrial electrical equipment and associated electrical controls
Utilize predictive and preventative technologies to eliminate equipment downtime
Set up and program automated production equipment
Identify root causes and implement corrective actions to improve employee safety, product quality and equipment efficiency
Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety and Quality requirements when in Production and Storage areas
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate will have a red seal certification and a minimum of 5 years industry experience with a strong background in PLC’s, instrumentation and process controls
Previous experience with identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
Excellent communication, team and people skills
Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and flexibility
The ability to provide excellent customer service in a demanding production environment
Ability to accomplish tasks with minimal direction and supervision
Experience in food processing and packaging equipment is considered an asset
The ability to work rotating shifts with overtime as required
