Operations and Supply Chain employees have the opportunity to network across our businesses and functions, all while improving the productivity, quality and efficiency of our operations worldwide.

As a Delivery Assurance Field Rep, you will have the responsibility to 1) work with suppliers in the region to improve supplier delivery commits to Collins in order to achieve improved delivery to operations.

2) Work with suppliers to provide Line of Balance for critical deliveries, and WIP trackers as needed to support such deliveries.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Work with BUs to understand critical parts impact, and status at suppliers
  • Expedite critical parts out of suppliers
  • Work with supplier to create a Line of Balance (LOB) and WIP Tracker to indicate part recovery status
  • Communicate critical parts status using LOB and WIP Tracker to BU Operations and leadership
  • Identify possible drivers of late deliveries, and communicate systemic issues to Supplier Development
  • Follow up on actions to close gaps affecting delivery
  • Drive delivery improvement plans such as overdue reduction, and buffer compliance
  • Work with suppliers to create actions that will address gaps identified
  • Work with supplier to expedite at Outside Processing Houses as needed
  • Brief Supplier Performance and BU leadership of progress on critical part status
  • Work with BU to Eliminate risks and roadblocks such us outstanding SRIs, CADs, and FAIs that prevent suppliers from meeting performance targets, and escalate as needed
  • Participate in or lead process improvement projects to streamline Supplier Performance Operations
  • Requirements :

    Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, or other Business related field.

    Minimum 3 years of experience in Engineering / Supply Chain / Manufacturing or related area with a continued proven track record of performance achievement, and growth with increased level of responsibility in an operations environment

    Must have previous experience in working with suppliers

    Able to work in a fast paced environment and still succeed

    Knowledge of supply chain management in the Aerospace industry is preferred

    Project / program Management experience

    Ability to lead in a collaborative team environment

    Minimum 3 years of Shop floor / operations experience

  • 1 3 years of LEAN / Continuous improvement experience
  • Travel Requirement : Overnight travel 10% and Day travel 60%
