Our government client has a requirement for two Project managers to support large scale IT initiatives within their department.
The objective is to support multiple projects in maintaining and updating the MS project schedule, assist in summarizing and rolling up the project schedule status report and monitor project burn rates and identify issues.
The Project Managers will work with both the IT and business side to monitor the project.
Must Have :
Enhanced Reliability Clearance
2+ years of experience in Agile
10+ years professional experience
experience with MS Project Scheduling
The tasks will include, but are not limited to :
Update, maintain and monitor MS project schedules;
Monitor development burn-down charts;
Create project agile dashboards;
Review product backlogs;
Identify, assess and continually manage project-related scope, risks, issues and changes;
Assist in the upkeep of project related plans;
Follow structured approach set out by the projects and use existing formats and templates provided;
Liaise with technical and subject matter experts who contribute to the project;
Track status and deliverables;
Assist in the review of the project traceability matrixes;
Identify risks, issues and potential obstacles related to the project schedule;
Communicate and document gaps, risks, anomalies of concern and escalate to manager as required.
Generate sprint summary view reports;
Complete the MS project schedules;
Create projects schedule status summary reports;
Document process for monitoring agile burn rates and updating agile dashboards;
Assist in the close-out reports as it relates to the MS project schedules;
Complete weekly status reports outlining completed and planned work activities
