We(Primrose School of Tallgrass)are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Kindergarten Teacher to plan and implement an ongoing curriculum that promotes the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child, in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning® approach to teaching and learning.

Our proprietary curriculum meets all National and State standards and competencies. We utilize Benchmark Literacy, Big Ideas Math, and STAR Renaissance.

We are a year-round school offering high-quality early education care and learning experiences for children from infants through private pre-kindergarten with extended learning and care for elementary-aged school-age children. Primary Responsibilities

Assesses each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis.

Implements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum and programming.

Plans parent-teacher conferences and student evaluations.

Maintains an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore, and make decisions with confidence.

Required Skills and experience : Kindergarten Teacher : 4-year degree in early childhood and / or elementary education

Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative developmental needs of young children

Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of program Benefits
