The role :

The RDC Human Resources Assistant will provide administrative support to the Human Resources team with an emphasis on recruitment.

Other functions of the position will include payroll, onboarding, training, compliance and record retention.

The responsabilities :

  • Screen incoming candidates versus Lowe’s requirements and complete telephone interviews to validate information and establish suitability for the position
  • Monitor the flow of incoming candidates to ensure a sufficient pipeline to meet staffing requirements
  • Schedule face-to-face interviews and ensure interviewers are prepared
  • Execute offers of employment and all associated paperwork
  • Answer employee questions related to payroll and other HR programs
  • Maintain employee files, update employee data in HRIS and various employee databases
  • Support HR department with employee events
  • Other duties as assigned

    The qualifications we are looking for :

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience
  • Thorough knowledge of the following systems : Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational skills
  • Customer service oriented
  • Professionalism, discretion, integrity, and sound judgment in dealing with sensitive and confidential matters
  • Is process-oriented and has a strong bias to action
