The Total Rewards Consultant provides input, analysis, support and recommendations to the Director, Total Rewards. The role focuses on the research, analysis, design, development and implementation of integrated Total Rewards policies, programs, processes and tools that align with and support our Total Rewards Philosophy and Business Strategy.
What you’re responsible for :
Research, analyze, design, cost, recommend, and implement Job Evaluation Plans and processes.
Validate Job Evaluation results and recommendations for Individual Contributor and Management sales roles.
Research, analyze, design, cost, recommend, and implement Base Pay, Executive Pay and Variable Pay programs / plans.
Develop, implement and facilitate cross functional sales design teams in the design, costing, implementation & governance of Sales Compensation plans.
Calculate and administer the Sales Bonus and Commission payout processes.
Provide input and recommendations to the Director in making salary administration and salary structure (e.g. merit budget, range movement, geographic differentials, etc.
recommendations based on the market analysis.
Research, analyze, design, cost, recommend, and implement new benefit plans / programs.

To join our team :
Completion of Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Psychology, or Sociology with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, some of which is directly in compensation or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Completion of one of the following designations : Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP), Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP).
Knowledge of applicable Total Rewards legislation (e.g. Employment Standards Act, Pay Equity, etc.).
Knowledge of the insurance industry, key metrics and business drivers and strong financial acumen required to assist with Actuarial Compensation, Employee Incentive and Sales Compensation Plans.
Strong mathematical and statistical aptitude.
