This is an exciting time in the Rogers Connected Home business as we continue to build our plan to deliver best in class customer experiences, utilizing leading edge product and service capabilities.

The successful candidate is responsible for the development and execution of the Connected Home marketing strategy including value proposition creation and delivery, market research, customer segmentation, product road map, and Go To Market execution.

They will leverage deep customer insights to drive successful implementation of relevant differentiators to create long term value, delivering profitable growth and strong customer relationships.

To be successful, the incumbent will be a transformational leader who can drive change, lead and develop a high performing team, and work collaboratively with cross functional partners in a matrix environment.

Expected Business Impact :

  • Lead the articulation, alignment, and delivery of the Why Connected Home value proposition for both the Rogers and Fido Brands.
  • The scope covers all connected consumer categories : Internet, TV, Content, Home Security, Automation, and Home Phone

  • Develop and manage suitable short, medium and long term connected home marketing strategy and plans to support the vision, the value prop, and business growth.
  • Cultivate ongoing customer insights from our target segments to anticipate their needs, understand best practices, and identify new industry & technology trends
  • Drive and prioritize a differentiated products and services roadmap and new business development to anticipate our customer changing needs and deliver business growth
  • Steer the Go To Market process for value prop implementation. Partner closely with the Product, Pricing, Channels, Brand, Marketing, and Digital primes and ensure teams are executing with excellence and utilizing design principles.
  • Monitor and manage core KPIs (e.g. subscribers, revenue, value for money scores, LTR) to ensure value propositions and strategies and resonating with our target customers and share performance opportunity and risks with SLT and ELT
  • Leadership Qualities :

  • Proven track record of developing high performing, highly engaged teams that thrive in changing matrix environments
  • Ability to develop strong relationships across all levels of the organization to maximize collaboration
  • High degree of passion and motivation to deliver customer value, improve customer experiences, and champion the voice of the customer across functions
  • Innovative and creative thinking to foster and develop transformational consumer use cases, and stay ahead of emerging products, services, and technology
  • Financial and analytical bench strength (P&L, LTV, and commercial KPIs) to evaluate business opportunities and deliver line of sight to growth
  • Problem solving and strategic reasoning to pressure test new opportunities, remove barriers, and challenge the status quo
  • Well versed in the art of story telling strong, clear, confident communication style and ability to influence with internal and external stakeholders
  • Education and Experience Requirements :

  • Master of Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of Marketing experience
  • Strategic Planning experience an asset
  • Extensive industry knowledge; global experience an asset
  • Experienced executive management and leading large, high performing teams
  • Shift : Day
