They are seeking a Marketing Specialist to establish marketing practices, drive demand-generation marketing for bleeding-edge AI consulting company.

This is an opportunity to build a marketing practise from the ground up, and to participate in the growth and development of an AI vanguard.

The company designs AI solutions that solve challenges across computer vision (CV), natural language processing (NLP), anomaly detection, time-series analysis, and reinforcement learning (RF) for applications ranging from security and defense to environmental solutions and healthcare.


  • Everything related to marketing. One minute you'll be planning the annual marketing strategy and budget, and the next you'll be ensuring the executive team has an updated brochure and one-pager for a trade show.
  • Build out and update the company's promotional materials, including website updates, brochures, trade show materials.
  • Enhance and develop their social media stratgies, and create regular content and updates on relevant channels.
  • Manage creative and PR projects outsourced to experienced external contractors (PR, Creative / Design)

  • 6+ years experience in marketing, ideally as a sole marketing person in a sophisticated B2B tech services or consulting business
  • Experience creating and building out company promotional materials, like brochures, some social media, banners and posters for trade shows, etc.
  • Lead generation
  • Choosing, implementing and updating a CRM tool
  • Email automation
  • Experience with a broad range of digital SaaS tools : CRM (examples might include Salesforce, Hubspot CRM) Web content publishing (like WordPress etc) Landing Page design (like Unbounce, Lead Pages etc) Heat Maps (like AppSumo, HotJar) Email Marketing (like MailChimp, Tout, Drip) Digital Integration tools (like Zapier) Retargeting (like AdRoll) SEO / SEM (like Moz) Social Media (Hootsuite, Twitter, Facebook) Paid Ad platforms (like Google AdWords, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc etc)

  • Experience marketing software / SaaS, machine learning, artificial intelligence.
  • Graphic Design (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Fireworks, Canva, Venngage)
  • Corporate Professional MKTG - Marketing Professional 2 - 4 years Digital Media and Innovation Marketing Coordinator 2 - 4 years Marketing Manager 2 - 4 years Describe your experience as an Intermediate Marketing Coordinator creating promotional materials, developing and implementing social media strategies, event and conference attendance (Must-have)

    This is a full-time permanent role at our client's head office close to Granville Island. The whole team works onsite Monday - Friday, but they're flexible with the demands of life.

    Target start date is Feb or March 2020
