What you will be doing
Based in offices in Mississauga Ontario the HR Manager is mostly responsible for being the team member advocate for all Motel 6 and Studio 6 employees within the assigned territory.
An HR Manager that is the right fit for us is a change agent able to assess and anticipate HR-related needs and assist us in developing solutions.
Keeping the team members in mind the HR Manager is responsible for the strategic planning development and implementation of HR initiatives.

Manage corporate on-boarding program and recommend enhancements and best practices to improve the new team member experience -
Support implementation of HR project plans in partnership with other departments -
Support the corporate office and other areas as assigned to ensure the existence of a compliant work environment through training implementation and assessment (front line and management) -
Demonstrate initiative professional judgment leadership ability to influence outcomes and handling day to day employee relations issues in a responsive ethical and rapid manner -
Understand and assist with the develop the business goals of the Area motels -
Provide guidance and consultation to management in the continued development of a people and performance oriented culture
What we are searching for

Strong Analytical and problem solving skills
We feel the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience...
3-4 years of experience as a Sr HR Generalist or Sr HRBP
BS / BA in Business, HR, Psychology or Industrial Realtions or similar field preferred
Experience with MS Office
Familiarity with Ontario employment laws and regulations
Experience with compensation philosophies and the ability to make recommendations based upon a compensation guideline
Exceptional customer service through various communication methods
