Position Summary

The P&C Coordinator is responsible for performing various administrative functions, as well as providing support to members of the P&C department.

The Coordinator is the first point of contact for employees across the organization and provides quality service in responding to and redirecting their inquiries as needed to the appropriate People & Culture function.

What you will be doing :

  • Resolving and responding to staff inquiries related to policies and procedures, pay, benefits, educational expenses and employment related matters.
  • Provide support for the People & Culture department.
  • Responsible for day to day accountability for payroll administration.
  • Assist with onboarding activities. Prepare new hire packages Conduct orientation meetings with new hires Follow up with new hires as per onboarding guidelines
  • Monitor and set up new hires on the company-wide Attendance Management System.
  • Ensure employee files are maintained and documents are filed in a timely manner.
  • Update and maintain organizational charts on a quarterly basis for the leadership team.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • What we are looking for :

  • Post-secondary school education and / or equivalent on the job experience within the HR field.
  • 1-2 years of experience as an HR Assistant preferred.
  • Good knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • User level knowledge of Visio would be an asset
  • Working toward CHRP designation
