As an Architecture & Solution Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for the architecting, designing and implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365.

D365 is the ERP that drives our business processes across our nationwide manufacturing and fulfillment centers. This role will lead in Solution Architecture, Fit Gap Analysis, System Design of Microsoft Dynamics 365 to drive our inventory, manufacturing, supply chain and warehouse functions.

Reporting to the CTO (interim) this role will be leading a team of Developers and ERP analysts to drive the delivery of business initiatives aligned to technology strategy and target states.

Proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to implement best practices are critical to this role.

We are looking for someone with strong creative, technical skills who can handle multiple projects at once - executing projects from ideation through production.

The ideal candidate has a track record of successfully conceptualizing and designing supply chain processes that drive revenue, quality and productivity at a large scale.

Job Responsibilities

D365 Architecture, Strategy, Roadmap & Execution

  • Establish the D365 roadmap to meet the overall business objectives
  • Ability to design system architecture framework and Integrate Microsoft Dynamics 365 to other systems.
  • Successfully deliver on the D365 roadmap initiatives, including meeting project milestones
  • Assess business and user needs continuously to provide analysis on opportunities to take advantage of existing and / or innovative technology solutions
  • Keep abreast of industry and technology trends to inform, adjust the strategy and advise on best practices and application of technology
  • Manage and resolve complex business issues arising from the implementation of new processes or procedures, escalating decisions as appropriate to Business and IT Leadership as needed
  • Assist in the technical impact assessment of proposed changes to the solution - including any 3rd Party components
  • Analyze and help to debug complex implementation issues
  • Identify and address technical risks
  • Participate in all phases of the Solution Delivery Life Cycle including planning, requirements definition, solution design, configuration, data migration, test, QA, execution, and implementation of business applications.
  • Talent Management

  • Develop D365 talent to provide leadership to the Technical and functional core team
  • Provide leadership to develop and motivate a high performing team
  • Develop team expertise to serve as subject matter experts for D365
  • Negotiate resolution of conflicting priorities to establish resource and task plan that supports the department and corporate objectives
  • Set and measure performance objectives and provides regular one-on-one feedback to all members of the team
  • Build a clear and defined succession plan for management within the team
  • Coach and mentor team leads and team members, provides guidance in the resolution of critical issues that may impact established service levels or service expectations
  • Manage the department through clear communication, expectations, timelines and performance metrics
  • Partner Management

  • Partner with leaders to discover, define, and articulate D365 opportunities that drive tangible results for the organization
  • Ensure effective management oversight of D365 vendors and consultants providing project and support.
  • Maintain a productive ongoing relationship with Microsoft
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in the information technology field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a project delivery role in a fast paced / agile environment.
  • 5+ years experience working in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
  • Experience architecting D365 solutions end to end
  • Participated in a 3-5 implementation roll outs in Supply chain and Manufacturing modules implementing inventory and advance warehouse, operations, manufacturing, assembly management, quality, lean and materials management
  • Experience in designing Power Apps including an in-depth understanding of customization, configuration, integration, and extensibility, as well as boundaries and constraints
  • Implementation and / or industry experience with these core areas of D365 / ERP functionality - Supply Chain
  • Previous team management experience preferred. Team leadership skills including experience engaging, empowering, and coaching team members as well as hiring and retaining employees
  • Highly Collaborative with all stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage priorities, plan and organize work
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be familiar and comfortable utilizing the Scrum methodology.
  • Bilingualism (French - English) is an asset
