The provincial health authority, in the South East Area - Yorkton, Saskatchewan is seeking applicants for two permanent General Ophthalmologist Specialists.
The position, available December 2019, will consist of operating room, in-patient surgical services, emergency room consultations and on-call.
Option for a private practice out-patient clinic exists in the community; further details are available for interested candidates.
The successful candidates will provide surgical services from the Yorkton Regional Health Center. Itinerant ophthalmology services may be required throughout the southeast area of the province.
On-call coverage is required.
In accordance with fee for service.
Relocation Assistance may be available from the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
The successful applicant may apply for the Specialist Recruitment Incentive offered through the Saskatchewan Medical Association which provides $30,000 to an eligible Specialist that establishes a practice for a minimum of 36 months in a Saskatchewan community.
