Adult Education Online Instructor Application ADED 3P32 Fall 2019 Session (D2)
Elective ADED Course : ADED 3P32 Facilitating Adult English Language Learning (0.5 credit). Theoretical constructs, language learning contexts, English as a Subsequent Language (ESL) skill areas, integrated approaches, technology in language teaching, assessment, concerns and controversies.
Topics in adult learning theory, including immigration, cultural considerations and Canadian culture, and language in the Canadian ESL context.
This is a half credit (0.5) course of 36 contact hours in a duration offered in 12 unit increments over approximately 12 weeks, asynchronously (though within defined weekly windows of time), fully online.
There are no on-campus meeting requirements for this position.
Compensation : Approximately $6,410 per half course or $12,820 per full course.

Duties of the Adult Education Online Instructor (Stipend Contract, non-union) :
Develop engaging instructional resources (video, screencast, or podcast) that provide insight and feedback to learners on a weekly basis.
Qualifications required :
based (or similar) LMS environment, within the last five years preferred.
