The MIIR Senior Manager will be responsible for all IEAG aircraft maintenance inspections, installations, refurbishment including Paint (MIIR) activities in accordance with the policies and instructions of the Safety Management System and the IEAG Maintenance Policy Manual for the YUL Base Operations.
This person will look after the overall management and administration of the aircraft MIIR applicable maintenance departments.
Coordinate and supervise the maintenance inspections, installations, refurbishments and paint of all aircraft;
Ensure that Maintenance Production Managers and Paint Supervisors are overseeing and instruct the personnel regarding the Maintenance Methods to be employed;
Ensure maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with company SMS, MCM & CARs; Ensure that the Maintenance Production Manager and Paint Supervisors properly review and approve employee time cards;
Ensure proper coverage is in place to support all MIIR activities;
Proceed with budgets review and approval with aircraft maintenance production managers and paint supervisors;
Follow up on performance (actual to estimate) and report on discrepancies and other MIIR events;
Ensure that proper follow up is implemented on open work orders to review daily activities and ensure work is conducted in a timely manner and is justifiable and accountable;
Authorize ERFP for materials charged to work orders;
Ensure aircraft MSP and SPs accounts are accurate and accountable;
Promote safety awareness and discipline wrongful maintenance employees accordingly;
Ensure that the maintenance production mangers and paint supervisors have issued sufficient equipment and special tools to accomplish maintenance functions;
Assure that the maintenance production manager and paint supervisors have all maintenance equipment is in a serviceable condition;
Complete training requirements as outlined in the Execaire Training Manual;
Support implementation of and ensure direct reports respect company procedures / policies (6s, H&S, SMS, SPPs, etc.);
Actively participate in the safe operations of the company by providing accurate safety reports when any situation occurs that did or could have compromised safety through the SMS;
Conduct regular maintenance meetings.
University Degree (preferred)
10-15 years Management experience in Corporate Aviation - MRO
Experience with Paint Operations for Corporate Aircraft a strong asset
Bilingual (English and French)
